How it works
- After an enterprise IT admin installs work apps on fully managed devices through a UEM, they can enable Separated Apps and select certain apps to install in the secure, separate area.
- By default, the following apps are available in the Separated Apps area.
.Google Chrome
.Microsoft Office (depending on the device model)
.Samsung Calendar
.Samsung Camera
.Samsung Gallery
.Samsung MyFiles
.Samsung Video

Ratings and reviews

This is just providing a frontend to something Knox has been capable of for a long time. It's not bloatware or malware. I can understand that people who aren't interacting with it might not want to see it could take it as bloatware, but it's actually a security feature. It's a relatively small package, and you can hide it if you don't want to see it. As for those complaining about games installed during updates, those are from your carrier, not Samsung. Check the install source.

5* As its great to add layer of security to you phone to help act similar to a Virtual Machine in Knoxs Secure folder ， even for personal use. However, after reading the apps privacy policy, its stated that all the user data that is collected from using this app/software, is shared to the worlds largest personal data collector . Oven gloves can protect you from burns ，but whats the point if you're in a volcano.

Guys, this is NOT bloatware. It's necessary to protect yourself and your private data on your phone from potentially malicious 3rd Party Apps. Just Googling what it is for, it says: "Separated Apps isolates third-party apps in a securely separated folder that prevents unauthorized access to confidential work data." So make sure you don't accidentally Uninstall something that's pretty necessary to you and phone's security. I do wish Samsung and/or Android would explain this better to customers.
