About this app

This application is software for syncing the Galaxy Watch5 and does not operate on its own.
The Galaxy Wearable application must be installed first for it to operate normally.

The following access permissions are required to provide you with this service. Basic features of the service can be used even if optional access permissions are not granted.

[Required Access Permissions]
- Location: To search for nearby connectable devices to connect to the Gear via Bluetooth
- Storage: To send/receive saved files with the Gear
- Phone: To verify the unique identification information of devices for app updates and for installing plug-in apps
- Contacts: To provide services that require account syncing by using the registered Samsung account information
- Calendar: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and schedule
- Call logs: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and call logs
- SMS: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and SMS

[Optional Access Permissions]
- Camera: To scan QR codes when activating the Watch (models that support eSIM only)

My watch will not connect to my LG Velvet 5G phone other than just randomly and I have no idea what makes it work or not work, as it only decides to on its own, not when I change settings. Worked all day yesterday. Disconnected all day today. Been on the phone with every customer service dept, changed every setting, did a factory reset, manually disconnected and reconnected to everything, and still nothing. Very frustrating.

I'm not sure what's wrong, the phone, the watch or the app, pretty sure it's the app, always disconnecting like every minute i need to reconnect it and I'm not able to connect to mobile plan, im using Oppo Reno 7 Pro,Galaxy Watch 5 44mm LTE,please provide a update either to the app or watch to fix this connectivity issues. I tried resetting the watch reinstalling the app,disabling battery optimisation, allowing background activity and all the other possible way. Please help me with this problem.

This is my 3rd Galaxy Watch. The watch3 was pretty good. The watch4 was okay, but ECG feature is NOT USABLE. Now I have a brand new Watch5, still no ECG. The apps are all on my phone, except there is absolutely no way to install the required (2nd) Samsung Health Monitor app on my phone (the regular one is there). Why won't the watch do it by itself??? This will probably be my LAST Galaxy Watch. I'm ready to give up on Samsung's Garbage Watches. They promise a lot, but don't deliver!
