The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

[Optional Access Privilege]
- Storage : To upload a drawing to PENUP or download a drawing from PENUP (Android 9 or lower)
- Notifications : To notify about activities related to your drawing, followers, and people you're following (Android 13 or above)

If your system software version is lower than Android 6.0, please update the software to configure App permissions.
Previously allowed permissions can be reset on Apps menu in device settings after software update.

Ratings and reviews

There are so many coloring pages to choose from. There's something for everyone! I thought the "color in the lines" was going to be great. However, in many places it doesn't color all the way to the line. Some pictures have such fine lines, even drawing on point size 1 goes outside the lines. Overall, great app!!

I actually love this app. It renewed my creative energy, and inspired me to create art again. I would like more brushes with more ways to modify them, and ways to modify layers. I love being able to share work with other users. It's social media the way it should, and free from all the negativity and political discord. My one complant is the fake pencil on paper sound. There needs to be an option in the app to turn off, otherwise you miss all your alarms because they get turned down too.

When selecting the size of brushes... a size "1" may be super tiny for one brush and HUGE for another. There needs to be better options. And better orientations. It takes me FOREVER to draw on here vs. On paper because I have to keep changing brushes and sizes... THEN i have to go back and erase outside my outline, but the eraser is too big, even at its smallest so i h ave to brush it back in again. Pen, brush etc & paper are way better than this pp. The only major pro to this app is convenience
