About this app

Sentara MyChart provides you access to your health information and helps you conveniently, and securely, manage care for yourself and your family members. With Sentara MyChart you can:

·Communicate with your care team.
·Review test results, medications, immunization history, and other health information.
·Schedule and manage appointments, including in-person visits and video visits.
·View your After Visit Summary® for past visits and hospital stays, along with any clinical notes your provider has recorded and shared with you.
·View and pay your medical bills.
·Receive push notifications when new information is available in MyChart. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app.

To access Sentara MyChart, you must first create a Sentara account. To sign up for an account, visit Sentara.com or download the app and click on Sign Up. After you’ve signed up, turn on fingerprint authentication or set up a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your Sentara username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in Sentara MyChart.

It was a little hard to navigate at first, which was frustrating, but now it's comfortable after a few logins. Things I don't like: can't do screenshots, can't share with others, the font on the pathology report is so tiny I can't read it. Yes it can be downloaded but then it would not be secure. Also, I wish you could click on dr's photo and get information about them. Everything else is okay. This app is much better than some medical apps; at least you can save login info. 4/5 ⭐️

Absolutely INFURIATING experience with this app. You can't actually log in on the app itself, it redirects you to a browser. Annoying, but whatever. The problem is it sends a pass code to your email, and by the time you close your browser, open your email app, copy the code, and open your browser again, THE SENTARA WEBSITE RESETS TO THE START SO YOU CAN'T PUT THE CODE IN. Sure I could just use a second device, but I can't! If I was able to use my computer, I would do that instead of the app!

Sentara collects hundreds of millions of dollars a year in revenue, if not billions, while operating as a non-profit, but can't manage their app. Something is f#@ky. You'll get notification after notification, but won't be able to access your chart after using it for years. Just download Follow My Health and save yourself a lot of frustration and remember that ever other provider has a location on every corner across the country. If there was a zero star rating, this app would get that.
