Ratings and reviews

No compatibility Apparently their software and hardware are only compatible with the newest model of phones so there's no way for me to actually use it. Both the square reader and tap and pay are listed as incompatible so there's no way to actually use their stuff not to mention with how confusing it is to actually make an account

The data is all great, but the ux of the app isn't brilliant. Being able to refresh the Reports page would be really helpful, currently have to leave the page and go to transactions/checkout etc and then back into Reports > Sales to see live daily sales. Used to use zettle, the amount of data is a lot better on square, but the ux of the zettle app is miles better. Also no easy way to see sales by day on one screen, have to manually select each day off the calendar which takes ages. Bad design.

almost perfect! only annoying thing is when creating an invoice, after adding each item it always goes back to the top so you have to scroll all the way down to add more items. only a small annoyance! On a more serious note, as a small business owner, using 1 reliable app/machine has streamlined my business greatly. I probably wouldn't still be in business if it wasn't for square. I know that sounds cheesy but I'm not very good at technical things and this system has made my life so much easier
