My speed is wrong. My mileage is wrong. Even the date of my ride turned out to be wrong. And worst is I can't even edit the date! What has happened, Strava? You have become so unreliable lately? I will try out MapMyFitness apps now. It has been several months that I have been facing problems with you. Almost giving up.
Very good app! Use everyday for my cycling and running and the premium features are awesome if you have a heart rate monitor and/or a power meter get great stats. Gave it a 4 star as when I upgraded it changed average speed to current speed on my bike, not sure if there is way to change it. But more customisation on what you see whilst moving would be great!
Not at ALL accurate. The app says 'recovering from an unexpected error' on every run or hike I go on. It said I ran .7 miles instrad of my full marathon and draws a straight line estimate of my course instead of my actual track. This happens in the city as well as on trails. Very frustrating.
Worst app I have on my phone atm. It's buggy. You don't have much control over the app. Can't reset the time on the app. Has a stupid sticky notification on head bar that you can't get rid of unless you reboot your phone. To be honest I don't know how this app could score so high. Only thing it does great is having nice colors and a nice interface...
I have been using it for a while now, but I am disappointed that Strava refuses to implement speed data from a speed/cadence sensor, despite many user requests. The GPS data is often noisy where I ride, so sensor-based speed data would make a lot of sense in those situations. Only three stars from me for that reason.
Weird inconsistencies between app and desktop version: no possibility to attach photo's and tag people in comments in desktop version. On the other hand in the app version one cannot flag and cannot see laps for running activities. And why is itpossible to parts in rides inthe activity view, butthis cannot be done for runs? And why is it impossible to configure your own default title?
