Ratings and reviews

Seems like the app gives a very false impression of what drivers are available. I tried ordering a max today and even though it estimated a 20 minute wait, when booking it simply showed animated progress bars and messages like "Almost there!" for about ten minutes. Then the request simply failed. Had to then call a conventional taxi service. And that was nearly just as cheap.

No customer support for wrong charges. I took a metered cab/taxi using the app in Hamburg/DE, when the ride ended the meter was unter 21EUR, but I was charged 27EUR: 30% more then the real price. Tried the Help options to review my fare: simply impossible, non-existing. There is not even a way to contact Uber to request it ad hoc. The app was amazing some 8y ago, has been decaying to become this. Will be using FREE NOW as alternative until something better comes up.

App tries to lie about where Ubers are, showing many cars around you, however, they all seem to disappear when you actually order one. Secondly, after the recent update, the map UI is all glitchy, many streets aren't showing, the dot representing your location goes all over the place, still functional, however takes a lot more time, alot more confusing, and I can see someone booking the wrong address due to this bug.
