Very handy app. I'd like to be able to filter more, such as only showing 50kw chargers which are available and no one is using. Currently it'll show it on the map but when you click into it, there's only a 7kw charger free as someone is using the 50kw one. Also I'd like to be able to add favourites so I don't have to go searching on the map for the ones I use the most. I can go straight to it and see if it’s free.

Hello Carol, thank you for the review. I'll pass on your feedback about availability to the team to look into. As for favourites, we have them! Tap into the charger, pull up the info & tap the bookmark icon on the righthand side. Then tap out & go to the 'List' on the bottom menu - this shows all of your bookmarks. Hope this helps, Isabel (Zap-Map)

OK. But doesn't filter locations to match you car. So completely random if you can charge when you turn up :( Which sort of defeats the point in using the app in the first place. Until this sort of irritation is sorted my PHEV will carry on doing the long journeys because using a full EV is too stressful. UPDATE: I have my car setup as a filter but suggesting tethered Type 2 charge point is no use for a gen 1 Leaf that needs an untethered Type 2 charge point.

Hello Matt, if you add your EV into the app you actually get a filter that is directly tied to your EV. It can be found within the Filters icon, then scroll to the bottom of the list, tap it & then click apply. Hope this helps! Happy EVing, Isabel (CO Manager, Zap-Map)

Really useless app all the charging points in the app does not exist around Bristol City their map does not refresh to show the charging station in real time you have to close the app and start again don't rely on it I wasted 2 hours to find charging points using this app and consumed my battery running like headless chicken

Hello Abbaz, we definitely have Bristol City charge points - it's where we're based! We also get live data (where it shows if the charger is in use or not) from more than 70% of all the charge points. This sounds like an issue with the app, could you send details to support@zap-map.com and my team can investigate for you? KR, Isabel (Zap-Map)

What's new

We’ve added a confirmation page to our registration journey to help new users. We’ve made a number of improvements to how we guide users to our subscriptions within the filters, route planner and the subscriptions page itself. There are also a number of bug and crash fixes as well.
