They don't care to warn you about it: your ticket starts the counter immediately after you buy it! so you can't buy the ticket in advance - it will expire. I had to purchase another ticket. Also their interface is very uninformative and not helpful. You can't just indicate From-To stations, you need to figure out by yourself which zones they're in. And it says "Inputs are still missing" when the actual problem is the wrong zone indicated.

Hello, single tickets are always intended for immediate travel. You will be made aware of this before purchasing. The user interface is clearly organised. We cannot understand the criticism here. In contrast to other cities, the Berlin fare zone is very simple.

I cannot sign in for the life of me. The app takes me to a browser page and I can log in just fine, but the app doesn't register the login. So when the browser window closes and I get sent back to the app, it's like the whole login process never happened. I have tried reinstalling the app, clearing the storage and cache on my phone, restarting my phone, toggling my browser settings. The whole situation has been infuriating. Update: I tried going through GoogleChrome. Still can't log in.

Hello, You may be using the Firefox browser. Please select Google Chrome as your default browser and log in to the app. You can then change the browser again. Search for the Chrome browser in the phone settings - Apps. Click on it once. Select the Chrome browser in the Default menu. It should then work.

The tickets in the app are only valid when presented alongside your passport!!! They require everyone's email address, just to buy a ticket, and the ticket is also not immediately valid, you have to wait a couple minutes (it has a countdown...). Neither of these issues exist for physical tickets, so i guess I'm done with this predatory app that only serves to collect personal data for BVG and help controllers catch paying customers on a technicality they can't control.

Hi Matthew, we are sorry that you are no longer satisfied with the app! An account is always created and the introduction of the 60-second countdown was a decision of the Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB), not the BVG, we (as well as all other transport companies in the transport network) have to follow these guidelines and implement them.
