Timetable information and route planner in one place
- The app chooses the best public transport route based on real-time traffic conditions
- The start page displays all connections of regional traffic, the S-Bahn, U-Bahn and tram as well as bus and ferry routes throughout Berlin and Brandenburg.
- Never be at the stop too early or too late or on the wrong platform again: Real-time departure times at stops with customisable views
- You can add connections/routes to your calendar or share with friends via SMS, e-mail, Twitter, WhatsApp or other messenger providers

Favourite destinations
- With just one click, you can switch between your favourite destinations with no need to re-enter them each time

Whatever ticket you need, you can purchase it immediately and easily in the app:
- short haul
- single fare tickets
- 4-trip tickets
- 24-hour tickets (for 1 person and for small groups)
- bicycle tickets for all of Berlin and Brandenburg
- tourist tickets (WelcomeCard, CityTourCard, Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket)
- so-called “VBB-Umweltkarte” for Berlin zones AB

Ticket usage and payment
- The ticket can be used immediately after purchase
- Payment by PayPal, direct debit, credit card
- Payment by prepaid
- Use your VBB account in the “Handyticket Deutschland” app to buy tickets in other regions across Germany

Accessibility
- Travel with no barriers: Timetable information and route calculations now come with special search options for blind and visually impaired passengers

Keeping track
- Your current journeys on all means of transport are animated and displayed LIVE in real time on a map – zoom into your surroundings and directly to your current location
- All route networks in the network area (Berlin and Brandenburg) are stored in the app
- In addition, all route networks are always up to date and can be used permanently offline after a single download

Ease of use
Easy to use thanks to access rights that are granted exclusively for this app.
- Contacts: Addresses from your contacts can be used in the start/destination search (e.g. search for a connection to your best friend Petra by typing in “Petra”)
- Calendar: Connections that you have already searched for and found can be added to your calendar as an appointment reminder
- Geolocation: For displaying the nearest stop/address, for searching for a connection or the boarding station/stop when using a ticket on your phone
- Photos and camera: In order to create individual destinations for route calculations, you can either take photos or select photos from your gallery.

Ratings and reviews

I uninstalled this app after finding it nearly impossible to use. I wanted to buy a four trip ticket, but it asked for a starting station. I don't know where my first trip is going to be. Is that for the first trip or all trips? Then I went to the website on my web browser to at least register my name, address, and credit card. I couldn't log in without a PIN which I never got from the app. so I tried to register as new user but couldn't because it said my phone number was already registered.

After initial installation, needed to register with a phone number. SMS arrived only the day later. hardly helpful. thought being prepared now for the next trip. wishful thinking. Once tickets were selected, it asked for payment method then asked for address and then just jumped back to selection of payment method and so forth. today it finally worked but when wanting to see tickets, it tried each time to connect the server forever before the tickets on the phone can be accessed...

This app is very helpful, it helps me go everywhere I want across Germany. Thanks to the initiators.
