The free Garmin Audio app puts entertainment control in the palm of your hand. Whether you’re on the move or at the helm, this app gives you quick access to wireless remote control of your compatible JL Audio® or Fusion® stereo via Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi® connectivity (Wi-Fi available on select stereo models only). Enjoy play / pause / skip audio control with source selection, individual zone volume control and the ability to adjust music / stereo settings (including choosing albums, artists and playlists). You will also be able to access over-the-air software updates allowing you to easily keep your compatible stereo up-to-date with the latest features. The app supports Digital Signal Processing (DSP) setup with the Easy Tune feature; where you can select customized speaker, subwoofer, amplifier and environmental profiles to enjoy premium audio that is optimized for your boat, resulting in a superior listening experience. DSP also protects your audio system by adjusting the power output to your system components. Keep a look out for future app updates which may introduce new features and improvements.

Very slow to load each time you open it and it takes forever to search for the Fusion radio. if you move to another app and need to come back later you gotta do this all over again each time you want to change the volume. Also constantly wants to send "notifications" to my app tray. Why do I need ads and BS? every time the app opens it asks for this permission and that adds even more time to the already slow loading having to dismiss that screen. can't take a hint. Typical Garmin...

This app needs some work. Mostly with the fact that Everytime you go from this app to your music app to change songs when you come back to this app it has to reconnect to the unit. Why won't it stay connected in the background?? Also half the time it won't reconnect and I have to force close the app and try again. Fusion is considered pretty high end in the boat world so I expected much more from this app. I am hopeful that future updates will resolve this issue. If they do I will update.

Unreliable. Must attempt to connect 7 to 10 times to simply adjust volume. Continually disconnects from the Fusion stereo, even when it next to the device. Once the paint dries and app is connected, it easily adjusts volume, and skips songs. Garmin should be ashamed of the application bearing the Garmin name. Fusion stereos are bad enough. Their volume controls fail universally across all vessels and models. Really??? This is the best that has been achieved in all these years?
