• Access to your location to offer you the most relevant marketing promotions or deals by our merchant partners while you are on the go.
• Access to your audio phone to enable you to record your voice for Biometric activation and make a direct call to the bank's hotline.
• Access to your device's storage to give you the option to store the Maybank2u MY app in an SD Card.

Ratings and reviews

First impressions - everything looks clean, and the sign in process is clear and easy to understand. It is 100 times better than the older app. But as another user pointed out - the design particularly the colours and text, is not elderly-friendly. This is not about winning awards for the best looking app and the most modern font usage. You can still create a beautiful yet practical app that everyone can use and feel good using. Do consider this for the sake of everyone young and old.

Good app, but it's extremely annoying when it forces you to update and renders the current version unuseable. This has gotten me into trouble numerous times. Please understand that not everyone has access to unlimited data when not at home. Edit: I understand updates are necessary, but a notification that renders the app unuseable until it is updated is not. It would be much appreciated if the app does not prevent us from accessing its features. Edit 2: No improvement. Uninstalling.

Overall, it has been a good experience, but recently I could not do any transaction. The transaction always end up as fail. If i try to do this on browser in works. Please fix this. Using maybank app has always made transactions easier. Edit: Thank you very much for your quick response. I have sent an email and a screenshot regarding the issue :)
