With the Kaiser Permanente app, you can easily:
• Email your doctor’s office or Member Services with nonurgent questions
• Schedule, view, and cancel routine appointments and see information about past visits
• Fill or refill most prescriptions, check the status of a prescription order, and see a list of all your medications
• View your medical history, including allergies and immunizations, ongoing health conditions, and most lab test results
• Choose a doctor by browsing our online doctor profiles
• Find facilities and pharmacies near you
• Get care in a way that works for you — online, by phone, or in person
• Access your digital membership card to check in for appointments, pick up prescriptions, and more
• Get personalized reminders and health information as soon as they’re available

Ratings and reviews

It does what it's supposed to well enough, but something recently changed. Sending messages to my care team has seriously keyboard latency, making it a very frustrating ordeal when there is about a 500ms+ delay on each keyless. Not a device issue, as no other app does this. Also, while I'm authorized as a caregiver for my mom, I don't live with her and need a way to disable notification badges for her appointments and messages.

This thing works about 30% of the time. It's gotten more buggy over the past couple years with every update, not less. When it works, it's quite convenient. Conversely, it's EXTREMELY inconvenient when it fails, especially in the middle of a pandemic. Update, 2025: This app is garbage.

Generally speaking the app is fine. HOWEVER, The screen for test results is extremely slow and buggy. Also, when I installed the app, I did everything I could to not enable marketing cookies. And every time I opened the app, it repeatedly asked me to change my cookie preferences until I finally got frustrated and clicked except all. But when I went back to turn off the marketing cookies, The option is not available to turn off!! So in other words, I was forced into accepting marketing cookies.
