About this app

The Kaiser Permanente of Washington app makes it easier than ever to manage your health. Exclusively for Washington residents, the app has easy-to-use, quick-access options for virtual care, finding a doctor, exchanging secure messages with your care team, managing prescriptions, scheduling visits, paying bills, and more.
The refreshed home page includes new navigation making it easier to find multiple ways to get care online or in-person. Quickly find care recommendations for an ongoing health concern, a new health concern, and see all care options, including 24/7 Care Chat with a provider.
Enhanced navigation organizes the information and features you need into convenient sections:
• Appointments – view upcoming appointments and visits and see your after-visit summaries.
• Messages – exchange secure messages with your care team.
• Medications – refill or transfer prescriptions, see a list of your medications, view pharmacy wait times, or chat with a pharmacy representative.
• Records – access your test results, after-visit summaries, health summary, routine care reminders, and share your health record with non-Kaiser Permanente providers.
• My Plan – pay a bill, view your statements, Explanation of Benefits, Benefits Usage, and coverage documents.
• Locations and wait times – find the nearest Kaiser Permanente medical facility, schedule a phone, video, or in-person visit, view upcoming and past visits, and see wait times for pharmacy and lab.

The app was working great for me until last month when it suddenly started crashing, and then it completely locked me out entirely. I can no longer log in via the app at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times over the last month, and I still cannot log in. I can log in via the website perfectly fine, so it is not an issue with my account. With a 1.7 star review, I'm guessing Kaiser needs to get a new IT team onto working this app.

Edit to add that the previous issue resolved, but now I have the same problems as many others where the app will automatically log me out when I try to check my messages. Prevous issue: When I opened the app, I get a dialigue box to install the updated version, but when I go to the play store, there is no update to install. My options are to uninstall or open. I've uninstalled it and re-installed it, but still get the same dialigue box to install the update.

Suicide is cheaper and less stressful than working with this company. App is well laid out, once you discover there are two apps; one for Washington and one for literally everywhere else. Unfortunately, I needed it for the digital ID as the company still hasn't sent me a card and my digital ID cannot be retrieved. However, app is slow to load and doesn't save credentials so you will need to have your password memorized (PW managers won't sync to the app). All of which seems very insecure.
