Several problems. First, the app lost all connection with my vehicle and I was instructed that I had to do a full factory reset to fix the problem. That worked, but it's a lengthy process. Now that the app can again connect to the vehicle, I see "charging status unknown". Isn't that the main function of this app? C'mon, Volvo.

This app is a big disappointment. This is my fourth Volvo and the first that has the app feature. It's painfully slow. And I miss the remote start on my key fob, why did they do away with it? I guess so we have to pay for the app when the warranty expires. Why not offer both options? I want to stand at my kitchen window and start my car, not wait two minutes for the app to finish, only to get an error message & have to do it over again. I hope Volvo reconsiders this before I buy my next vehicle.

Remote start very unreliable. Constantly claims the "ignition key is in the vehicle". App doesn't handle map intents so you cannot share a destination from other apps to your car. You can't book a service appointment. Notification actions like "lock" don't work most of the time. Widgets don't look at all like they're supposed to and don't work. Terrible app and getting worse with each update. The quality control is horrendous. Old version was light years better.
