Another case of the app not launching on Pixel 6 with latest version of Android. It was working fine on my previous Pixel 5 device also on Android 12. This applies to both the regional apps for HSBC US and HSBC Mexico

Can't always deposit checks: Camera goes off when it's not aligned, when it's in the right place the picture preview is pure white like it didn't take a picture. Trying to press cancel doesn't actually cancel it, just tries to retake it, then after trying and failing often it logs you out!

awful, as expected. the app kicks you off if you switch between apps. I had to get my checking account # to put into ebay. the app of course didn't allow me to just copy it so I noted the first couple #s in my head, switched to ebay to enter them, then switched back to get the last numbers. hsbc logged me out. I thought activating the security device would help: nope. always kicked out if I leave the app. bad experience that I'm not looking forward to again.

The app is clearly in its infancy and rushed to release. 1. Prompting for DoB with spin dial selectors is very inconvenient. 2. Selecting digital security option goes in circles without accomplishing anything. 3. Taking pictures of a check for deposit is clunky and flaky. After finally taking an image of the check, it spit out some error. I tried twice before giving up and depositing to another bank. Take a look at Ally how it's done.
