For navigation options, this is by far more superior than Google maps. The speeding camera's being mostly all up to date is a plus for out of town driver's who are not locals. However, a bug persist in the software code when running at the same time with music. I tried Spotify and SoundCloud app. The voice notifications stop after a few mentions of directions or alerts..this is crucial to work as I would prefer to keep my eyes on the road instead of having to look at my phone.

I love so much about this app and have used it for years, almost perfect but one issue has frustrated me so much. The ability to see the search results in order of distance. Example, I search for Walmart and the first result is 23 miles away, I have to scroll through a random list and find one just 0.9 miles away but it is 10th on the list. This is an easy fix, but Waze has refused to do it. I have seen requests for this since 2015. You can fix this in an afternoon. Most nav apps have this.

Every time I get in my car, I have to close the waze app on my phone, then re-open it, just so that I can type on my phone screen instead of Android Auto screen. It won't allow me to do anything on my phone if it's connected to Android Auto. Edit- to the automated reply: You don't need more info from me. This is how the app is designed to work. This is how it works for everyone connecting to Android Auto. Just fix the problem please. This isn't some little bug with certain devices.
