MyChart is an ok repository for medical records, but it's not great for setting appointments or for communication with doctors. There are different confusing ways to contact the practice and half the time they don't seem to get my messages. For appointments I've found in most cases it's a lot easier to just call by phone. There is a lot of functionality here, but in terms of usability, the site and the app are not intuitive. They need to hire some better user experience design professionals.

Thank you for the review. Many aspects of MyChart are controlled by your own healthcare organization through setup and settings. We recommend reaching out to them for support. If you don't know how to reach them, email us at MyChartSupport@epic.com, let us know the issue and the organization name and we can look up their contact info for you.

Great app that has everything you need to know to keep track of your healthcare. Upcoming appointments, notes for past ones, test results, reminders, medication list, check in, etc. I also really like that you can message your healthcare team instead of calling if you don't need an urgent answer. As a socially anxious introvert I find it encouraged me to ask questions I might avoid because I don't want to call or be on hold. You can also track multiple hospitals and dentists! So convenient!

I am happy to have MyChart. It has been helpful in several ways-appointment reminders, Quick lab results and important information. I had a problem with changing passwords, but since I switched to Biometrics, it's been simple. My only constructive criticism is the need for someone ( a nurse) to update the reminders. I've been reminded for years now to get a meningitis vaccine and my doctor says I don't need one. same goes for duplicate listed prescriptions. Please delete the duplicate!
