Ratings and reviews

YouTube has been amazing almost everytime I use it, but the other half of the time it's terrible. For starters, whenever my phone resets or I turn it off then back on, it just doesn't work. I've tried everything to get it to work but nothing works. I've tried downloading updates, uninstalling and restalling, almost everything I can think of but nothing works!

6/1/24 YouTube you are not that free flowing thing anymore. 5/31/24 I would like to completely uninstall. The app is completely broken and won't support background play among other features. There are a lot of free alternatives that I prefer. 2/14/24 Some of the "premium" features should be free to reduce carbon emissions. I can't listen to a video in the background without having the screen on. This is a huge environment impact that Google is ignoring.

So done with the mass amount of ads in this app. Not just the ones before, during, and after videos, but inside the various menus. Also, I have been having the same bug for like a year now. I can't type in a live stream chat while casting to my TV if my phone is in portrait. If it rotate to landscape, it suddenly works. EDIT: All of what I said above is still true. But now the "Add to Queue" feature has disappeared when I'm casting to my Roku TV???
