Ratings and reviews

Being a Premium subscriber, I had been very happy with the YouTube experience. In particular, the option to play immediately vs add to queue when casting to a Chromecast. That feature disappeared a few weeks ago and has not returned. I figured it had to be a bug since it was a significant step back in user experience but now I'm beginning to wonder if it was intentional and the ones in charge of UX are simply incompetent.

The latest update has completely ruined the experience with casting to a TV (which is the only way I watch). Now, you no longer see the prompt allowing you to choose whether you play the video immediately or add it to the Queue, and you can only add to the Queue when you click on the three dots on a video thumbnail and click the menu option for it. Which is acceptable until you want to queue up a video from your notifications. Also, adding playlists to the Queue now no longer works at all.

Intermittent excellence. At times the app functions smoothly and well allowing you to take care of anything you need to do. Other times very prone to crashes. Try to open the app when you don't have service it crashes. Try to download a video, it crashes. Try to add a video to a playlist, same result. Clear cache restart app and phone, still crashing. Works pretty good most of the time though
