Google Earth used to work well, except for street names being shown. Currently, when I click the little street view dude, no blue highlighted roads show up, anywhere for any street. Also, street names and other labels don't show up even when the option to "show all" is turned on. Off or on its just as blank. Google Maps works fine, but I prefer to use Earth. Google maps only when I need directions not for exploring. Did Google disable street view?

Google Earth is the most used app I have. I and many others spend a considerable amount of time on this app. It seems that it keeps going from great to farther from it with each update. From the reviews, many others share this feeling about the latest updates. One of the features I wish would be brought back it the zoom feature with the photos on Android.

Simplicity is king. Navigational options are annoying and 90 plus percent of folks surely use miles when using the measurements feature so have this as the default. Having to push the true north tab screws up the current position and found area it's just constant work to stay where you are at it seems. The "save to project" feature is bad enough to make you wanna put panty hose on your head and take hostages. Why is it that folks who update apps never have a clue why people use them first place?
