Ratings and reviews

Good way to talk to your friends and family who only have a email and not a phone number. Does not send notifications all the time and you miss many messages because of it. The app needs an update so that you get all notifications,I used to get them all the time but ever since their new update to change the logo etc... I have not been getting my friends and families text message notifications, and it has been getting very aggravating, I can promise you that I will not be using this app again!

Update: Happening again. Edit 2: Do not disturb wasn't turned on. But suddenly it's all working again. Hopefully they remain reliable. Edit: I checked every notification setting available on my phone, email, and app. All notifications are turned on, but none are coming through. I checked for updates and tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and restarting. Nothing has fixed it. Without notifications, it's become useless as a chat app. The app is fine, but the notifications randomly stopped working.

With every update, the app becomes less user friendly and far less appealing. It now opens to a blank home screen instead of my active chats - pointless. I can no longer send video clips quickly - irritating. The overall appeal of chats has gone from my preferred method of messaging to me searching for a completely different app. Huge disappointment, much like Facebook and other large platforms.
