Ratings and reviews

Recently, the quality of the translations has gone through the floor. I remember using it to try and sharpen my Spanish skills, mostly to familiarise myself with words I didn't know of. But now it's utterly failing at translating anything. So many words are translated either incorrectly or using less common versions of them. It's gotten so bad that even I could tell with my limited Spanish knowledge. And…esta es una oración que fue traducida usando Google Translate. Oración? This isn't a prayer!

maybe 70% accurate, and good for only a quick sentence, beyond that it has difficulty if you use voice translate. For example if you are attempting to translate a thought and take a breath, it stops. if you for any reason stop translating via voice for less than a second, it stops. No way to continue, you simply lose what you have done and start over. In conversation, mediocre, misses many words, app gets locked up, just not something to depend upon.

Used to be fantastic, 5 stars. Have been using for years. Now it fails to detect what language to translate, often outputting exactly what was input, untranslated. If there is any kind of spelling error, forget about it. Previously the app was intuitive, easy to use, accurately detected language, translated correctly and gave other possible translations. Now? Useless.
