Spoke with the tasker until the night prior. I sent a quick message at midnight with a priority list (all very doable, and without forcing anything - just a list of suggestions to make her job easier). Woke up at 9am with the job scheduled at 10am, and she had canceled without specifying any reason. Policy says that jobs have to be canceled with at least 24 hours notice, and yet the app let her do it, and no customer service is available to call. Horrible experience.

Not reliable and bad customer service. Some taskers are not available as they say and add extra charges once confirmed. the problem is that if the task is within 24 hours you have to take it or you get charged, even if the information given is not accurate. Customer service is shambolic. The app itself is not usable. I have to use the website. Too many scammers around. Using Taskrabbit is for emergencies only, the plan Z. Reach out to local communities instead otherwise. Never again.

what a piece of software and service. I'm on Android, iPhone & Windows. getting 404 not found errors on my task in addition to not being able to see details of my task anymore. Instead of getting app notifications, which are enabled and supposedly working, I get text notifications. I'm trying to reschedule because guy didn't show up, it's not letting me choose a week from now. can't edit it. what a horribly programmed piece of service....
