About this app

Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect—inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate, and stay organized.

There are many benefits to using Classroom:
• Easy to set up – Teachers can add students directly or share a code with their class to join. It takes just minutes to set up.
• Saves time – The simple, paperless assignment workflow allows teachers to create, review and mark assignments quickly, all in one place.
• Improves organization – Students can see all of their assignments on an assignments page, and all class materials (e.g., documents, photos, and videos) are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive.
• Enhances communication – Classroom allows teachers to send announcements and start class discussions instantly. Students can share resources with each other or provide answers to questions on the stream.
• Secure – Like the rest of Google Workspace for Education services, Classroom contains no ads, never uses your content or student data for advertising purposes.

The app doesn't load classes. Keeps jumping to login screen. Edit: Dear Google classroom support. I'm not a newbie. I tried several times. And even my professors aren't able to login. It is known that the service is being down and with no ETA described. I don't know if servers outside are oke, but, here in Brazil we're facing this problem. Even using a web browser in both pc, mac or mobile.

Hi, Pedro. Can you try to uninstall and reinstall the Classroom app itself? Open the Play Store app > search Classroom app > Uninstall > Reinstall/Update. If this doesn't help, please visit our Community Forum for any additional assistance: https://goo.gle/3wY3447.

The app could be more stable and have some options that are very key nowadays... This week I was trying to watch a recorded class and the video just wouldn't open, it was loading for ever, and when it did the app crashed. Then I closed and opened again around 10 times, restarted my phone twice, reinstalled the app and nothing. Tried on the phone of my gf and had the same problem. Later I just gave up and let the phone sat, for my surprise the phone was for some reason still loading the app after the crash screen, because around 20min later I came to use my phone and the class was there playing with the crash warning on the screen... About the options I was talking about, I mean, why can't we speed up the audios? I thought it was a no brainer, "if we can with videos, why not with audios?" There are other minor annoyances but I think these are the most urgent ones. Hope it helps you guys someway

Hi there. Can you open other file types outside of the Classroom app? The file could've been emailed to you outside the app. You can try to uninstall and reinstall the Classroom app if you're still running into problems. Open the Play Store app > search Classroom app > Uninstall > Reinstall/Update. Hope this helps.

Since last update, I can't edit/correct some of my students assignments. It doesn't matter the format. When I click on save, it says "something went wrong. Please try again later". And I've been trying for weeks now. I even tried the beta, but nothing has worked. I also tried restarting the device, uninstalling the app, clearing cache, etc. It just won't let me. I even sent lots of feedbacks with screenshots, but it's a waste of time.
