Ratings and reviews

Misleading Exits/Transition. when navigating with Google maps, I don't know what has happened recently within the last few months, but the normal routes I would usually take have been changed to some wonky routes and shady parts of town whenever. I normally just hit the freeway and I'm there quicker and easier without all the extra stops and turns. The other thing, , if I need to be headed to I-10 East, whenever I'm coming up on the ramp, it tells me to take the I-10 West ramp, very misleading.

Update: Sometime around January 2026, the starting location in my Google Maps (GM) app has been wrong. For example, when starting from my "Home", some random address nearby comes up, instead of my correct home address. This never used to happen. I've cleared the app cache, verified that my location features are accurate & turned on in the GM app, etc. Nothing seems to fix the issue.

It is an amazing app, very organized, with many complicated bits of navigation, and clutter simplified into a clean interface. I cannot walk around a new place without giving a look around with maps to see my surroundings. It is addicting, it is a tool, it allows you to know places you don't know yet giving you a sense of security, it is good for navigation, planning, to create routes, to find jobs, to understand transport routes, there are so many uses that, without it, I get lost (literally).
