Accidentally opened the app with a VPN on, and now I can't watch anything on the app anymore (after having disabled the VPN already obviously). Reopening, force closing, cache cleaning do not work. Amazon clearly does not respect their customers. The rest of the app is bad too. Sync between different devices does not work at all. you might be in a different season already and as soon as you switch devices you will be brought back to some past season.

The app on TV and mobile has become inundated with content for everything but the "free" Prime content you pay for and not truly ad free even though I pay 2.99 extra a month, a skippable ad plays before everything you start streaming. I need a lawyer to hold these companies accountable paid "ad-free" not being true. I still see ads. Amazon is awful now but somehow still better than Netflix and CrappleTV. Someone make a truly ad free service and you can have all my money.

I'm deeply grateful that Amazon is even more stupid than they are greedy. Since I'm not paying extra for no ads, I get bombarded with trailers for the latest film or series and after the 3rd+ time in one 40 min episode, I am so sick of it that even if I had been interested, I'm not any more. It's saved me a fortune in films and series they've persuaded me not to buy. The list of things they say they have but don't is getting so long, soon I'll be able to cancel Prime and get the channels direct.
