About this app

For your devices and items
• View your phone, tablet, headphones, and other accessories on a map–even if they’re offline.
• Play a sound to locate your lost device if it’s nearby.
• If you’ve lost a device, you can remotely secure or erase it. You can also add a custom message to display on the lock screen in case someone finds your device.
• Find your devices and items on Mobile and supported Wear OS devices.
• All location data in the Find Hub network is encrypted. This location data is not visible even to Google.

For location sharing
• Share your live location to coordinate a meetup with a friend or check on family to make sure they got home safe.

Ratings and reviews

This app doesn't update the locations when you click the refresh. It will have devices (pixel earbuds, tracking tags) on and right beside my phone while the app is open and still won't update their locations. The locations can be days or even weeks without an update. I even updated my ear buds location on the Google find hub website which worked instantly, and this app still hasn't updated their location since 6/21, two days ago.

Ruined with update. FMD now opens Google maps in driving mode automatically. This is a change in behaviour and ruins it. Previously it opened with a map pin (which is often all you need to see where something is). Now you can't get a pin and worse it tries to drive there. There's no way to see where something is. Tracking through an airport I've had a huge delay while it tries and fails to plot a 6,000 mile drive. Same hiking.

Great concept to have what Apple already has. However this app is still buggy. Two major bugs so far: 1/ When having multiple Google Accounts, you cannot use this app if you do not accept the terms on the account that is currently selected in the app. You cannot switch to another account or do anything in the app untill you do. The app will just close. 2/ Any new tag will be asigned to the account that Google chose. No easy way to change that. Doesn't matter which account is currently selected.

We've resolved an issue where Precision Finding wasn't working correctly on certain Android devices.

In addition to finding lost devices and items, you can now stay connected to the people who matter to you. You can share your live location to coordinate a meetup with a friend or check that a family member got home safe—all in one app.
