I emailed screen recording per developer request. No reply.**** This was my long my chosen default browser on my S23U. Despite a few issues, it was great. Starting two weeks ago, attempting to open it immediately returned an error message: "Oh, no! Something went wrong. We'll work on that." I tried the recommended cache clearing to no avail. So, delete data or uninstall, both of which will lose my Collections & Favorites, are the only options???!!! So, you said you'd work on it. Where's the fix?

I love edge as a developer, it ties into everything I do in Microsoft very well. I've become so used to it that I started running it in MintOS Linux as well. its for that reason I use it on my phone. I can jump between work, personal projects, university work and continue with my searching from my pc to my phone. its also really fast. I did notice that sometimes it gets triggered by YouTube with its ad block but almost never on some of my devices. only oddity so far.

While the Windows and iOS versions of Microsoft Edge are two of the best browser apps out there for me, the Android version is, simply speaking, awful. Don't get me wrong, while Edge for Android phones is a very good browser, when you use it in an Android tablet, especially a low-end or mid-end device, you get a subpar experience that is nearly impossible to use. I have a low-end tablet (Huawei M3, Android 7) that I use mainly for reading, so I don't need it to be particularly powerful. Since I switched to Edge as my main browser in my other devices, I tried to use it in this device, but the UI and UX are horrendous. First, the UI is inconsistent: the active tab has square edges, while inactive tabs have round ones, exactly like Chrome. And I can't close tabs without selecting them first, because inactive tabs doesn't have the "X" button visible. Then, if I'm using the tablet in portrait mode, the URL bar length shrinks to only ~6 letters, because of the home, favorites and send buttons are in the way, so is nearly impossible to introduce or edit text. Also, I cannot disable the news feed in the New Tab page. In the settings there's not an option to do it, or I least I couldn't find it. Plus, the reading mode is very limited: there's no way to close it without using the back button, and I can't find a setting to change fonts, colors or at least the font size. Regarding this, Chrome's more useful. As I said, I really like the Windows and iOS versions of Edge, but here in Android I can't say the same, at least speaking of the tablet version.
