The app uses full-screen notifications to display incoming Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls between riders and drivers, allowing users to quickly accept or decline and communicate in real time during trips.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible. You can never cash out, it's always under maintenance. Also, what's with the pop up every time you're arriving close to a customer's location? It prevents from seeing the map and forces us to take one hand off the handlebar to close it, in spots where pedestrians are everywhere. Same with the safety check that pops up before you can go online, isn't it a bit ironic that we have to take our eyes from the road and hand from the brakes to tick the boxes on a "safety reminder".

Please make it possible to swipe away notifications once they've been seen. As it is, they stay on the screen, hijacking the entire phone for way too long - especially the "Destination Reached" notification. It's very frustrating to have to wait for a notification to go away and not be able to do literally anything on your phone until it does. Edit: no seriously, fix this. I'm driving less on Uber because I'm sick of my phone being hijacked.

The maps are quite wrong in many places - where Left Turns Only areas are, the map says I can go straight through or turn right. Where it's topd me to take the First Exit of a round-a-bout, it actually means the second exit. I've also found that if you are close to hitting Incentive goals, the app seems to actively avoid assigning orders to you as I can drive around with the app active for nearly 2 hours with 1 order away from a goal, and not see another order.
