Requesting a personal ride has never been easier on Uber Lite— Here’s how it works in four steps:

Open the app
Confirm where you are and tap to select your destination
Choose a vehicle type
Confirm your ride

What happens after you request?
Your location and destination information is shared with your driver so they know where to pick you up and drop you off.

Once you've requested a ride, the app will show you all the information you need about your upcoming trip, including your driver’s name, picture, contact information, vehicle details, progress toward your destination, and their time to arrival.

When your trip is over, pay in cash. Uber Lite does not accept digital forms of payment at this time.

The Uber Lite app frequently shows inaccurate estimated arrival times, which is extremely frustrating. The discrepancies between the displayed times and the actual wait times make it difficult to plan trips reliably. This feels like a deliberate misrepresentation, and it ruins the user experience.

I'd definitely give zero star if possible. I was not able to book a ride as all rides indicated "Unavailable" and after 10 mins drivers kept on calling that you've booked a ride. Imagine the kind of glitch or bug the app has to do such kind of deep stupid thing to happen.

Uber is one of the worst apps for transport. Multiple times they've deducted twice the amount because a driver canceled and i didn't get a refund. Yesterday I paid in cash and Uber said I still owe them cause apparently I short paid and they have now deducted it from my next ride. Frustrates me that I can't even query that or get my refund
