Ratings and reviews

Searches are location specific now. Only shows places that are near my selected location. Also the favourites section has been divided into dining and delivery and all of the places have been put into the delivery section for some reason. And yeah it's location specific as well. So now I have to switch places just to see all my favourites. Places that I've saved from cities that are not my "regular addresses" doesn't appear at all. Have to select the city first which I obviously don't remember.

Total scam when it comes to delivery. Bought gold free delivery but it comes with terms and conditions. A particular amount of order is required to fulfill that. Then why scam people in name of free delivery. Also prices in Zomato app and that of the restaurant are not same. Prices are hiked up and put up in the app. With discount also you are paying more for the same amount of food plus the delivery, taxes and the platform fee.

Order at risk of cancellation. Yes. That's how Zomato works. You order through them and then there is a high probability that after wasting an hour of your time they will just cancel the order. Moreover if you try to connect with the restaurants directly from the numbers provided if the app - all are non existent. The only support is the chat system but that too is run by bots which doesn't actually solve any issues. So basically you pay them, then after 2-3 hours you get the money back .
