Ratings and reviews

Generally reliable translations between English, French, Italian, and Spanish. I'm disappointed that my translation history was deleted by the web activity setting to delete stuff after 3 months. That setting needs to be more clearly explained, more granular ie by app. Lost many key phrases. Could care less about search history or YouTube history, but I have to turn off web activity deletion to keep my translations! I don't like the recent UI changes in this app.

Editing this review to add: when translating a section of text, if the line spacing is not cramped, it will translate each line separately, and it does not let you edit the text that is being translated like it used to, so you can't take out the space it adds. Which botches what is otherwise decent translation software. Google translate used to be alright. The google lens update has killed it. It's a frustrating waste of time for me now. Will use something else. See edit history to see the rest.

This app would be really amazing if it didn't stop listening to a conversation because there was the smallest break. Like literally someone ends a sentence and before they begin their next sentence, the app starts translating and speaking to you while missing everything else the other person is saying. It ruins the whole experience and is not useful when having a conversation with someone that speaks a different language.
