Ratings and reviews

I use this app to translate from English to Thai, and it does a horrible job. Firstly, it always translates the pronoun "I" into the feminine gender in Thai (it doesn't have a setting to use a specific gender). Secondly, rather than directly translating text, lately it appears to guess what I had intended to say and then translates it (I can only assume that this is AI crapware); what I was trying to express gets totally botched when I translate it back from Thai to English

Okay I just had to rate this app 5 stars because of the Live AI translate feature. I tried it with Amharic and English, and not only was it accurate and quick, it also did the translations in my own voice! This is awesome and I can only imagine how much better it's gonna get in the future. Translators are truly not going to be needed any more.

This app doesn't always translate very well. You would think after the numerous updates, it would work at least 95% of the time. Another typical failure from Google! Update as of December 15th: Now it's WORSE!! The latest update/upgrade has made this completely broken!! Why do they bother changing the features?! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! If anything, they should've fixed the translation issue!!
