Ratings and reviews

Usually this app is pretty good. However don't cancel an order even though it's less than 5 min since placing the order as they will charge you almost the full amount to cancel it. I tried to change the address after placing an order, and they couldn't deliver from the store the app chose because it was too far from my address and they didnt give an option to change stores either. They charged me $27.75 for canceling the order. The support team also said no refunds. Pretty pissed.

Never order groceries from Uber eats. If items are missing/incorrectly marked by delivery person, then help agent will keep saying that the receipt is still being uploaded to cloud and will be able to help after the receipt is uploaded. If you contact after 48 hours, then they say it is too late. Have to keep tracking the charges on credit card as I have instances of incorrect amount charged. Too much hassle. Easier to just go in person or (worst case) use a different app.

Not a terrible app for food delivery but you have to look for promos, offers, and order at happy hour (2-5pm) to save. One thing I don't like is that when you cancel uber one you lose all benefits IMMEDIATELY instead of the end of the month or free trial which really sucks. On the other hand, Doordash pass has better offers and saving plus you get all your perks until your subscription expires.
