About this app

Roam the unknown with the Tread® app. It lets you track up to 20 friends on the map of your smartphone and Tread® powersport navigator by using the Group Ride Mobile feature and syncs waypoints, tracks, routes and collections across devices. Easily plan routes on your smartphone with the same maps, vehicle profiles and route preferences you have on your Tread device. Users can import and export GPX files and get access to smart notifications and live weather.

Will update when fixed. Pixel 8 Pro - The app connects to XT2 via bluetooth successfully. The XT2 is still stuck in the "Searching for Garmin Tread App" screen. I have to hit cancel to get to the home screen on which the "T" shows up, but the device is not getting Traffic or Weather information from the phone. I must have reset the device and bluetooth connection at least a dozen times. Works with no issues on a iPhone 12.

A terrible app, for a terrible device (the XT2). I stupidly bought this, despite reservations about how relevant a standalone GPS is in an age where Waze etc offers a free and feature rich navigation experience. The hardware has potential. Unfortunately, the software, UI and user experience is horrible, making even the most basic tasks painful. Save your money.

They may have fixed it!! It seems you can choose to NOT sync your routes between unit and the Tread App. It is nice to have notifications without having an app mess with your preplanned routes. We'll see. They may also not overwriting your routes without your knowledge. More tests will be necessary. Fingers crossed.
