It does most things you'd expect without a problem. BUT very frustratingly if you are setting up and paying a new beneficiary you cannot refer to an invoice you're paying in another app (like email) and then go back to your ABSA banking app and continue where you left off. It kicks you out and reverts to the log on screen so you must start all over. If you only have 1 device and no paper copy you eventually (after 4x) have to either give up or hope you have captured all the details correctly.

This shouldn't be the case. Please ensure you're just minimising your app and not accidentally closing it when changing between apps for the details.

The App is quite awesome, registration is very easy and efficient, it's also easy to navigate through the App, it's not cluttered with unnecessary stuff as such it has a neat interface. The absence of a virtual card is a bit of a downer and the "Log-in Push Notifications" get too much that I've switched off push notifications altogether, if there could be options to choose which push notifications to receive that'd be great. And Absa Advantage is back which is very nice 😋

I've been trying to log on to the Absa app for the past two days. It won't allow me to sign in and keeps giving me the same message: "The transaction could not complete due to a technical error." So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now it won't allow me to even log in with my details. It tells me I'm already registered (which I know I am) but it doesn't give me an option to log in. This is super frustrating...!
