About this app

The official YouTube Studio app is the best way for you to understand and connect with the people in your community using the device you always have with you. Use the app to:

- Get a quick overview of how your content and channel are performing with the new Channel Dashboard.
- Understand how your channel and different types of content are performing thanks to detailed Analytics. You can also see performance data for different types of content in the Analytics tab.

Ratings and reviews

Why doesn't this app notify me when I have a new subscriber? The normal YouTube app does! Also when I get a comment, it doesn't show the name of the video that got commented (at least not initially). It would also be nice to adjust the default dashboard timeframe, eg instead of just the last 28 days. One other small thing, the video search only works with whole words - partial words return no results. Wrote this 3 years ago and nothing has changed 😑

Uploading videos is so unnecessarily tedious. When trying to select the video I wish to upload, the app completely ignores the file names of the videos and only shows the video length. I have to open each and preview it to make sure it's the right one. Even after the upload, the title doesn't update to the name of the file like in the Studio website. Another feature I would recommend is to allow other apps (such as Google Files) to share videos to the YouTube studio app which would upload it.

Studio is a prime example. of we don't care about you. views on videos most of the time stay at 0. but if i go on desktop. there's actual data there. not to mention, your enforcement system is ran by ai. which means, gameplay videos, like saints row. get auto flagged. even if you set the video "not made for kids". it does nothing. studio is a app held together by ducktape. it used to good a few years ago. but google ruined it sometime last year. stop using the same patch notes. it does not help.
