Ratings and reviews

It is truly astounding how buggy basic functionality can be, and how poorly errors are handled. Simply cannot fathom the scale of waste that goes into this app. If a payment method is declined you cannot retry it, it will automatically fail even if there's funds in the account. If you attempt to update an order and the card is declined for any reason, all it says is "unexpected error please try again". App is incapable of remembering what page you were on if you leave for more than a minute.

Estimated delivery time is consistently wrong. If the app says 15 mins, allow a minimum 30 minutes. It's got to point that it is difficult to see what value UberEats is providing. You pay more for the items than the restaurant charges, you pay for delivery, and get it in the same time as the restaurant will deliver. Drivers are quick to accept your order, but if the food isn't ready then second they arrive, they cancel your pick up and you're left waiting.

you will pay more in random arbitrary fluctuating "service fees" than you will in paying your service driver. I tried to get Google AI to make sense of it and it just thoroughly backs up how it helps us but doesn't explain why. then if you try to find out how to minimise it it firstly says to 1. either pick it up (making using uber eats completely redundant in the first place). or 2. add more value to the order as it goes off the value of the order. so I added a $10 item and the fee went up...
