Using NPCI's (National Payments Corporation of India) BHIM Unified Payments Interface (BHIM UPI), money transfers are simple & secure with Google Pay. You must have an Indian bank account with a phone number linked to it to use this version of Google Pay.

Ratings and reviews

There is a major feature missing in the app. I cannot easily see how much I have spent in each payment category, such as fuel, groceries, investments, food, entertainment, and other expenses. This is one of the most important features for users because it helps track monthly spending and understand where money is being spent. A detailed category-wise expense summary would make it much easier to manage household finances, plan budgets, control unnecessary

Location Access for payment is not necessary, its a privacy breach and means to collect personal data. Though gpay has been my preference, I have shifted to an alternative payment platform. Also gpay cannot adopt an existing UPI account. I don't want multiple UPI handles for the same account and number.

With easy payment options and attractive offers, this is an excellent application... This app has been a lifesaver for me...I used to always pay my bills on time and carried no credit card debt; however, after taking a job at a restaurant and living paycheck to paycheck, my credit score plummeted... To make matters worse, making new purchases without incurring additional overdraft fees became impossible... 2 people found this helpful
