The app uses full-screen notifications to display incoming Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls between riders and drivers, allowing users to quickly accept or decline and communicate in real time during trips.

Ratings and reviews

1) Uber's in-app audio master control sucks... it overrides your phones audio settings and makes it impossible to drive and listen to music while waiting for orders. 2) Can't rate customers or see customer order notes until after you pick the order. On multiple orders you cannot message the other customers if there are delays. 3) In my market the app logs you out after 3 declines which is extremely annoying. 4) Uber sends you a lot of junk orders that are far way and make no sense.

New update to my post after one year. The app became worse. Now it's showing that you are waiting for an order online, but in reality, you are not getting offers. After restarting the app, it turns out you're offline. If you're going to send the app offline in the future, just add a decline button. If a driver presses it, it means they are here and waiting for better offers, and don't send them offline.

most pressing issue: - the app clubs multiple deliveries into one order. it sometimes reassigns the order to another if the driver is delayed at one of those order. when it reassigns these orders ... it marks them as cancelled my driver and affects the cancellation rate. in two days my cancellation rate went up by 3% because of this issue even though I personally did not cancel them map issue: app points to left and announces "drop off on your right". on one way lane .. it says "turn left"
