It's so bad that Amazon tells you this is a benefit included in your Prime subscription, just to find out that you have to pay extra if you want to be able to skip songs, go back to the previous one or even select the exact song you want to play. I know this has nothing to do with the app itself but anyhow, consider checking the web version first to make sure you know what you're getting. Spotify is much better and it's clear what is included and what not.

It cannot do the one fundamental thing a music player app needs to be able to -- reliably play back music without stopping. If the app is playing, and you put the phone down and just want to listen - it will eventually just pause/stop. Going back into the app sometimes makes it restart by itself, sometimes you need to hit play again. Seriously - this is the most infuriating app I have ever dealt with. And yes, I have tried every battery optimisation setting in Android. Nothing helps.

not a fraction of what it used to be. I had paid prime, you used to be able to listen commercial free, almost all songs, then commercials started ,you can't skip without commercials, no repeat. 'Likes' list is only randomized, same pattern, full of commercials. I cancelled prime, only difference is a couple more commercials.
