Updated from 1 to 4 stars (29 Aug). Search function now working again. Irritating weather feature still there though. Lots of people having the same problem as me. Search function in contacts has stopped working. Typing in the search bar, it makes a half-hearted attempt to find something but gives up after three letters and says not found. Incredibly irritating. I have to scroll through my whole list. Might as well still keep names in a separate address book! No response from developers?

Having a nickname option in Phone and Contacts, which isn't represented at all in the contact list seems to be a glaring omission. Having it at least optionally represented as it already is on one's Google profile, Forename "Nickname" Surname, would be an obvious start. Also, it could be set as the default. On a similar note, perhaps something could be implemented for company details. Such as, Full Name - Company.

The app is useful and is easy to use. The only complaint that I have is that the new update made the process of editing contacts harder. Before when you need an more fields, there was a button you could click that would bring up all of the other field types at once, and if you needed an additional field for something you could press a button to add it. Now, when you need more fields, you have to select them, there is no button that opens them all at once anymore.
