Carrier Services provides services to support RCS (Rich Communication Services) messaging in Google’s Messages app. It collects diagnostic and crash data to ensure these services operate smoothly.

Calls drop after one minute. Alot of the times I cannot receive calls either. When to try to uninstall but that option isn't given on pixel phone. A disaster of an app and no one seems to be able to do anything about it (yes, an emotional response but when you can't make/take calls for weeks, it's to be expected. Also, it's not a network issue).

I just got a new phone which installed this app with it. It made it so I couldn't send any sms messages at all! I could still receive sms (about 10-15 minutes later than they actually sent it) but I could not send. After a few hours of digging I came to the conclusion that this app is what was causing me problems. I uninstalled it and my sms messages IMMEDIATELY started working again so I know for 100% that this app was at fault. I'd give O stars if I could! Glad to have it gone.

Look at it's permissions, very intrusive spyware. You have no control over this. You cannot disable it. For me, it constantly tries to connect to a carrier different from the one I have, takes over the phone and freezes it for 6 minutes, during this I can't even use my phone! I'm on day 2 now of it freezing my phone like this every few hours, for 6 minutes, all because I did a reboot. I go through this each time I do a reboot. Google needs to get it's act together.
