Mobile Klinik Device Checkup® has innovative tools to help you get the most out of your device. The Health Check tool runs device diagnostics to give you tips and recommendations to get the most out of your device, while the Repair tool helps you find out where to fix your device when you need to. The Sell Your Phone tool generates a quote for your device which can then be applied to in-store purchases including certified pre-owned phones & accessories at the time of the trade-in.

Health Check runs diagnostics to give you tips and recommendations in the following areas:
• Ensures your device is at peak performance
• Checks for known issues and ensures your software is up to date
• Learn helpful tips to manage frequently-used apps to save space or conserve data

Repair covers programs and services including:
• Locating your closest Mobile Klinik Location
• Booking an appointment at the Mobile Klinik store of your choice
• Getting a repair quote from a Mobile Klinik representative

Sell Your Phone:
• Provides a quote for your device following a series of tests and questions, for which you can trade it in to Mobile Klinik and apply the credit towards your new phone.

Mobile Klinik Device Checkup requests a number of permissions to help diagnose and understand your device. This information is used to offer you suggestions on how to improve your device, and to help us improve the app itself. The privacy of your information is protected. We will ask for the following permissions:
• Phone - We use this permission to diagnose roaming, network connectivity, and network status. We also use it to access the best trade-in value for your device.
• Storage - We use this permission to diagnose which apps and content are consuming your storage and to check your SD card status (if equipped)
• Contacts - We use this permission to diagnose and verify you have activated theft protection and device backup accounts
• Location - We use this permission to diagnose cell network and GPS information, and alert you to known issues in your local area
• Data Usage - We use this permission to check how much data each app on your device is using and to identify data saving suggestions for your installed apps
• System Access - We use this permission to help you fix common system settings, such as misconfigured network settings, in a single touch
• Image - We use this permission to diagnose picture quality
• Audio - We use this permission to diagnose microphone quality
• Phone Number - We may ask you to provide your phone number to diagnose roaming, network connectivity, and network status. Your phone number is also used to access the best trade-in value for your device. If you do not want to provide your phone number you can press “skip” when prompted.

Ratings and reviews

It's telling me that my software version on my brand new s25 ultra is unofficial, this is incorrect, and it is telling me that there is battery problems despite it being a brand new phone, this is also incorrect, there are absolutely zero problems with it.

I never chose to install this app. This is Bloatware app by Koodo, an advertisement for Mobile Klinic stores. The phone test is stupid and somewhat fake, nothing like Samsung's device checkup! Everything just brings you to "visit us in-store". Promos, "redeem this offer in-store", phone or plan, "activate on a plan in-store", sell a device, "Find a store". Junk! Disabled!

A polite way to offer this kind of help would be an an option... I shouldn't be forced to have this app I didn't ask for and can't get rid of. Edit: uninstalling the updates and disabling the app still includes it in the "update all" list. Which means I have to choose between having the app 'disabled' and being able to update all my apps at once. Thanks for the "help".
