Ratings and reviews

I've used YouTube for well over 10 years now. There's an ad on everything, everywhere you go, or look, has an ad or rather, multiple ads. Honestly, there's no saving YouTube from them anymore. I frequently get ads on videos under a minute long and ads even disrupt listening to music as well. I spend more time seeing and listening to ads than actually watching and enjoying the videos on the platform. Whatever YouTube might've been before is dead, with ads puppeting its corpse.

Youtube is only as fun as the creators, but they get censored for kids [on a Rated T app]! Ads galore, to the point where it starts to affect videos. Recently, whenever an ad pops up, the quality of the video gets worse, slowing down dramatically! There's a lot of annoying bugs tbh— ex, if I click on an ad by accident on my phone and try to click off it, it kicks me out of app. I'll keep using it, but if my favorite youtubers changed sites... it wouldn't be a big loss to change with them.

YouTube shivers shorts in front of you no matter what. It's annoying. I want to watch content from the creators I enjoy and have subscribed to but the app tries to get me to watch the YouTube shorts at every turn. All the want are mindless consume-next-content zombies and it's insulting. On top of that, the app frequently bugs out and I have to minimize then close the video I'm watching then open the video again to be able to finish something already in progress. And it's all related to shorts.
