Residio is a very user-friendly experience. I was switching from an iPhone to an Android phone and the process was so easy. It was no headache at all. I love being able to control the temperature in my house w/ my phone. I like how I can set the temperature from anywhere I go so that when I return home my house is at a perfect temperature. I definitely recommend this to anybody who wants an extremely simple app. The customer service was prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. Five stars!!

The reason for three stars is because the control module goes into sleep mode after selecting your temperature. I would like to see it stay active so I know what the temperature is set at versus what the room is reading. I would rather walk by and look at it than have to stop and tap to see what it is. The app and the website should work together but never been able to sign in on the website. Temperature is off by 1° to 3° compared to previous devices and other temperature measuring devices.

App constantly bugs me to turn on notifications. Very annoying. Also, periodically says no internet connection which is not true. Always some kind of annoying issue with this thing. I have 3 thermostats. 1 Nest with no issues whatsoever and 2 Resideo. To be fair the thermostats themselves work fine. But the app is horrible. I'll be replacing them with Nest.

What's new

1. App users would be able to view and enroll Canadian demand and response programs.
2. Brand new App users would be prompted to use First Alert app.
3. Bug fixes and Improvements
