never connects to my phone. the number of times I've tried - every method fails. I can even get the symbols on the can to show that it's connected but the app just keeps saying "looking for high speed connection"..and that's all I get. Total junk..get a different dash cam. and judging by the low score for this app it appears to be a common problem...

I love the camera setup, but the app is unusable. I have to delete my phone and re-add the camera every reboot of my phone or about every 3 trips. Even when connected, the app will not show all of the video clips. The app/camera will time out before you can find what you are looking for. During use, if the app isn't connected you lose voice commands. The auto-save protects the video every time you park.

Connection to the app is useless. High speed WiFi connection takes over an hour to connect or doesn't connect at all. Trying to update to the latest version for the 522 GW. It's never going to happen. I've uninstalled the app, factory reset the dash cam. And still doesn't get a high speed WiFi connection. These issues have been going on for years. It's about time nextbase had it sorted. I was going to upgrade to the iq 2k. Don't think I'll bother. The app for that is probably just as useless.
