Ratings and reviews

I loved YouTube, I bought premium, Now YouTube buffers endlessly after every video, or when the screen is off for longer than 7 minutes (I timed it an it's consistent), and now my whole playlist is wiped. Only way to fix it is to clear my data but even then the playlist I made is gone forever. It's pretty much unusable and will definitely cancel if this persists. Make it make sense on how you treat PAYING CUSTOMERS like this. I had a better experience with ads. It's a complete waste of money rn.

I would have to say 2 stars because 1. It does have entertaining videos 2. So much selection 3. Always seems to have a video on something I search for to learn more about but BAD algorithm But, 4. Has so many ads! 5. Has many videos that the creators require you pay a subscription just to watch on top of having ads 6. Lastly, it's kind of a kick when you're down to also then waste time to ask for free advice in questionnaire form. Why would I offer free advice when I already miss out with freeYT

October '24 updates. paying for Premium but it still has bugs with the newest updates. minimized videos will not close. click the top corner X and it just opens the video back up to normal viewing. ITS SO F'ING ANNOYING!!! even if I exit the app completely, when I reopen it, the minimized video is still there and won't go away. and when it isn't there for some unbeknownst reason, that dumb "Play Something" button is overlaying.
