Gemini opt in is rolling out to select devices and countries - opt in to Gemini from your Google Assistant or by downloading the Gemini app.

Like others have said. It used to work, now voice activation doesn't work. Assistant won't wake up until I physically open the app by touch. Once settings are completed, you can't go back into the app to change anything. Hot mess. Used to be great. Pixel7Pro in use on Google Fi, it's not hardware or software or service related.

Terrible app, not useful, can't find a single thing online with it. Can't control or set up anything on your phone like a calender event. Just a big waste of time. Even after being turned off and un-installed it continues to be an issue by constantly asking to be turned back on. Not useful when installed and annoying when uninstall. The best thing that can be done with this app is to be given the privilege of being able to truly uninstall it and use the free space for anything else.

Hi there. Thanks for your review! You can’t delete some system apps that came pre-installed on your Android device, but you can turn them off so that they won't show on the list of apps on your device. To do that, try the steps from this article: https://goo.gle/2XfmyQV. Hope that helps!

Someone is using Google Assistant to access my device. They added it to their Home App as an assistant device. Need to Make option to allow people to make sure they arent being used as a peripheral speaker device. Google needs to work on being less abuser-friendly and being more customer friendly. They forget who got them where they are. Lastly, when opening the "general tab" under assistant settings page is blank and does't list any options. Just like the ability to verify phone number.
